School of the 16th Century

Calling all History buffs … come check out The School of the 16th Century at the Oldest House Museum.  Designed to show/teach you everything you would want to know about life in the 16th Century (1513-1586) in St. Augustine.  Historic Weapons * Artillery * Armor – Equipment and Accessories * Clothing * Crafts – Culinary Arts * Religious Practices * Camp Life.

Learn about military drills and how to fire a crossbow or musket … or even a cannon.  Watch demonstrations about clothing, cooking and other skills that were used during that time-frame.

When:
Friday, January 9, 2026         —  set-up takes place after Noon
Saturday, January 10, 2026   —  10:00am-4:00pm
