Join the Tale Tellers of St. Augustine at The Waterworks for “Tall Tells and True”.  This production of Florida stories features historians and humorists David Fussell and Drew Sappington. Some are grand tales that blend real history with a little stretch of the imagination. Some border on outright lies! Most are funny. All are for people who love this state.

David Fussell is noted for his individual portrayals of Governor William DuVal and in tandem with Kathy Kniery as Nancy Duval.  His folksy and inviting style makes an audience instantly feel welcome. David performs throughout Florida at festivals and in concert.

Drew Sapplington tells at venues across the state such as the Limelight Theatre, Florida Folk Festival, and Florida Storytelling Association where he received the Ambassador of Storytelling award. He is the author of Hidden History of St. Augustine and several other publications.
