Fort Mose First Harvest

Join us when the Fort Mose Historical Society presents Fort Mose First Harvest. Founded in March of 1738, community citizens labored for long hours building homes and the fort and tending to crops and livestock. This event recreates a typical Autumn festival in 18th Century Spanish Florida.

Weather sensitive. All are welcome!

When:  Saturday, November 1, 2025 — 10:00am-1:00pm

Schedule

10:00am  —  Welcome with opening prayer, militia muskets demonstration
11:00am  —  Re-enactors celebration presentation
11:45am  —  Re-enactors interact with the public
1:00pm    —  Closing Ceremony
