Join the annual MLK Day of Service Community Cleanup event in St. Augustine on Monday, January 20, 2025 — 8:00am-11:00am.  A great event full of great local volunteers of St. Augustine.

On this day of service to honor Martin Luther King, we host a street cleanup of trash and a cemetery cleanup of the oldest African American cemeteries in Florida, the Pinehurst and Sebastian cemeteries.

● Meet at 252 N. Mc Laughlin St, St. Augustine.  A continental breakfast will be provided by Elizabeth Jennings and Kate Mitchell from One Sotheby’s Reality of Northeast Florida.

Please dress warm, bring grabber tools, gloves and your own water bottles.  If you’re doing the cemetery cleanup, bring gloves and gardening tools such as clippers, rakes and pruners.

After the clean-up, join us at the Silent March downtown to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. & the Civil Rights Movement in St Augustine.  It starts at 86 MLK Ave at 10:30am.  Marchers will walk together from St. Paul AME Church where Martin Luther King, Jr, once spoke and proceed to the Plaza de La Constitución in downtown St. Augustine.
