Mark your calendars for the 5th annual St. Augustine Poetfest … April 9-11, 2026. A celebration of creative writing and reciting, it is St. Johns County’s official recognition of National Poetry Month (April).

Events are Free and Open to All!

Poetfest 2026 Schedule

Thursday, April 9
Door Open 6:00pm | Showtime 6:30pm | Open Mic 7:30pm (Times tentative)
The event kicks off at The Waterworks with Beat Poet Summit … a showcase of Past and Present Beat Poet Laureates who are inspired to “Get on the Road” like Kerouac and visit Florida.

Friday & Saturday, April 10 & 11 will feature workshops, panels, and a keynote speaker on the historic campus of Flagler College … and are in the works. Keep checking back for all of the details.
