Introduction to Nature Journaling

New to nature journaling?  Then the Introduction to Nature Journaling class just might be for you!  By sketching and recording observations and curiosities, instructor Elaine Bergstrom will be reconnecting you with nature.

When: March 27, 2025 — 10:00am-12:00pm

Where: Meet at the GTM Visitor Center

Learn nature journaling with some easy method metadata and art techniques. As you document what you see, nature journaling gets you to wonder and ask questions. Drawing and noting any piece of nature is an opportunity to slow down and enjoy the moment!

Held both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting).

* Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. A hat, insect repellent, reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and binoculars are recommended.
* Please bring a sketchbook and twin tip black Sharpie.

Portable chairs will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
